Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and experienced Event Production Technician to join our team. This individual should be a motivated self-starter with strong technical skills and a client-focused mindset. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently and capable of handling every aspect of a production job—from loading trucks to operating complex AV systems on site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Load and unload production trucks; transport gear to event sites

  • Set up, operate, and strike audio, video, and lighting equipment

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on-site

  • Communicate with clients to coordinate event logistics and technical needs

  • Operate digital audio consoles, projectors, and DMX lighting systems

  • Perform rigging, hanging, and focusing of lighting equipment, sometimes at heights

  • Follow safety protocols and company procedures at all times

  • Work independently on-site with professionalism and confidence

Qualifications

  • Valid U.S. driver’s license and clean driving record

  • 4+ years of event production experience

  • Strong knowledge of stage lighting, live sound, and video systems

  • Experience with ETC consoles, DMX programming, and digital sound boards

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights

  • Comfortable working long days, evenings, and weekends

  • Effective communicator and team player under pressure

  • Background checks may be required for some assignments

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

  • Experience driving box trucks (non-CDL)

  • General handiness or woodworking abilities

  • Soldering and small electronics repair skills
